My buddy Mark was driving without insurance

My buddy Mark was driving with no insurance. I regret giving him the car.

How often is it that cops check if you have insurance? Not very often, right?.

Of course he will be fined but there is more. Now he needs SR22 to get insured. I'm not really sure what that is really. Some info on the net SR22 Form, SR22 Insurance and SR22 - what is it?.

From what I gather, if he does it again he may go to jail. I didn't know that the penalties for driving uninsured were that hars.

I could have been even worse if he had an accident or something. May be even drink driving without insurance - doesn't bare thinking about it

I still can't believe he did such an idiotic thing. Definitely the last time I'm giving him my car

Driving uninsured in Florida is against the law

Are you driving without auto insurance in Florida? What will happen to you when you get caught? Even if you are a good driver, don't you need a car insurance?

Its of paramount importance to establish one thing first . In every state in America, and Florida makes no exception, driving without insurance is illegal.

It is a punishable offence and when, not if, you get caught you will face charges. Regularly, police officers do check drivers' auto insurance policies.

Florida's Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles has the right to suspend your driving license for up to 3 years or until you are able to show a proof of Florida auto insurance.

Naturally, suspending your driving privilege is just the tip of the iceberg. You will also have to pay a fine to reinstate your drivers license.

You will also need a SR22 Form.

You can expect to be fined anything from $150 to $500, depending on your driving history.

Apart from the fact that its illegal, driving without auto insurance in the state of Florida is a terrible idea.

One look at the statistics shows that uninsured drivers are at fault in most serious accidents on the roads of Florida.

Consider the fact that even if you are not fined just yet, it is entirely probable that you may cause an accident and being uninsured will mean that you will possibly have to pay a huge sum of cash to cover bills and medical expenses.

Experts state that as many as 1 in 5 drivers in the state of Florida are without the required insurance cover. Even more true now, considering the state of our economy and the need for people to cut corners.

Reducing monthly bills is one thing, but when it comes to driving in Florida, the law is quite clear - you must be insured.

Its is much wiser to save money by comparing quotes and finding cheap auto insurance in Florida.

Driving without insurance is not worth the risk.

Toyota's latest recall - Is your car insurance premium being increased

If you are a Toyota owner, you are probably asking yourself a few questions. After ensuring your vehicle is safe to drive, you are probably asking yourself what will this recall do to your auto insurance? Will there be an increase to your insurance rates? Have the terms of your been cover changed? Does your vehicle cost less as a result of the recall?

Insurance companies confirm that Toyota's recall will not affect your liability or collision insurance cover. If a faulty accelerator causes an accident you are involved in, your claim is valid and will be paid. The manufacturer will be the one insurance companies seek compensation from. You will have to pay your deductible and you will receive part or all of it back from Toyota.

Insurance companies, including Allstate and State Farm, are reassuring customers they won't have to pay more as a result of the recall.
The model and type of car you drive plays an important role when your insurance rates are calculated.Toyota has a good reputation overall for making safe cars and the recent recall will not mean that all Toyota owners will automatically start paying more.

Without a doubt, the value of your Toyota will decrease. Of course, this doesn't mean that you should sell yours immediately. Lower car value may mean cheaper insurance when you have to renew your policy.

Wondering how much exactly has your insurance rate actually changed?
